Formed in 2009 and based in South London, The Pop-Up Choir is a contemporary co-operative 25-piece a cappella choir singing in 5-part harmony (SAATB). Our previous performances include collaborations with Mercato Mayfair, SK Shlomo, atop the Shard Oxo Tower, Peckham Levels, The Ritzy, Peckham Liberal Club, Number 90 bar and Flat Iron Square.
We specialise in unforgettable arrangements of high-energy crowd pleasers: from pop and indie classics to spine-tingling soul. We work towards several performances each term.

We rehearse on Tuesday evenings from 7-9pm in Vauxhall and we are often looking for new voices! Check out our joiners page for more details.
We are delighted to be led by our Musical Director Emily Myles. Emily’s a cappella journey began at university, alongside studying BA Music (Gonville & Caius College, University of Cambridge) she led all-female groups The Gonville Girls and Notorious. She then taught singing and directed children’s ensembles and choirs for Cambridgeshire Music and St Mary’s, Cambridge. After completing an MA in Music Education at UCL and PGCE at Goldsmith’s, University of London, Emily now works as a Music teacher at a secondary school in south east London. Outside the rehearsal room, you’ll see her jogging along the south bank to hit her training goals for her next marathon.
